We headed into the break with a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion to book a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup against Tottenham Hotspur, who were 3-0 winners over Swansea themselves.
The Swans have been in good form in the league since the appointment of Carlos Carvalhal but are not clear of safety just yet.
Here’s the team I think Jose Mourinho will name to face the Welsh side:
Goalkeeper: David de Gea
Sergio Romero was given his chance in the FA Cup but it will be David de Gea returning between the sticks on Saturday. The Spaniard currently leads all goalkeepers in the Premier League for most clean sheets.
Defence: Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw
Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly are guaranteed starters on the right-hand side of our defence unless they pick up a knock or illness between now and kick off. Phil Jones is still sidelined with an injury that has kept him out for the past two months, and although Marcos Rojo returned to play for Argentina during the week, Chris Smalling is set to keep his place in the starting lineup. Ashley Young picked up a knock whilst away with England so we could see Luke Shaw come in at left-back.
Midfield: Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic; Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford
Nemanja Matic will be the protection in front of the back four with Paul Pogba alongside him looking to be the link between defence and attack. Youngster Scott McTominay is a doubt but Marouane Fellaini could come into the starting lineup if Jose wants to play a central trio. Ander Herrera is also back in contention following his lengthy layoff. I think we’ll see Marcus Rashford down the left where he deserves another opportunity after his performance against Liverpool, with Alexis Sanchez being given a free role behind the striker. Jesse Lingard could start ahead of Juan Mata down the right.
Striker: Romelu Lukaku
The Belgian striker scored a brace against Saudi Araba midweek and has been in good form for us of late, so there’s no reason why Romelu Lukaku won’t start this one.
